Can AI Help Promote Responsible Gambling? Sportradar Bets Yes
The development of artificial intelligence is affecting only few industries, and the global gaming business is definitely seeing an increase in the use of AI.
AI is now enabling customer-tailored incentives and promotions, sports betting odds, and improved data and business prospect understanding for gaming enterprises.
AI can also lessen gambling addiction, according to Sportradar, a Swedish gaming tech company that offers business-to-business sports betting and iGaming solutions, distributes real-time sports data, and is a top integrity monitor.
The official launch of Bettor Sense, an AI-powered solution that Sportradar says will "revolutionize" player protection in the global online casino and sports betting sectors, was revealed today. Online sports bettors and iGaming gamers can engage in a tailored, proactive, data-driven approach to responsible gambling with Bettor Sense.
According to Sportradar, Bettor Sense, created in collaboration with the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and Innosuisse, the Swiss government's alleged "innovation agency," is able to identify the early warning indicators of problem gambling and illogical play.
Brazil Debut
Bettor Sense made its debut today in Brazil, where iGaming and legal, regulated online sports betting barely started a year ago. Online bettors using the BETesporte platform can now access Bettor Sense.
"This partnership with BETesporte marks an important milestone for Sportradar’s ongoing mission to help shape secure and sustainable sports betting and iGaming industries. BETesporte is taking a proactive step in embracing responsible gaming as a core part of its business. We are confident this will be the first of many partnerships, as the market increasingly recognizes the value of using data and technology to protect end users and strengthen compliance,” said Tom Mace, Sportradar’s senior vice president of integrity and regulatory services.
Through its AI component, Bettor Sense learns continually and evaluates each sports bettor and/or iGaming customer in real-time using a risk rating that has been established over time. Sportradar claims that the responsible gambling tool's patented technology, which is "grounded in behavioral research," enables operators to take prompt action when they get information about a customer who may be placing unusual bets.
Players whose betting habits have altered can then receive tailored treatments from Bettor Sense.
Embrace AI
Sportradar is the most AI-advanced gaming company in the market, according to a June analysis from Casino.org.
Along with Bettor Sense, the company is creating an AI-powered assistant that will let sports bettors to create personalized wagers via speech and text cues. AI is also being used by Sportradar to automate real-time data aggregation across the thousands of games and athletic events it tracks every day.
The AI news and Sportradar's most recent financials have pleased investors. Shares of SRAD, which are traded on the NASDAQ, have increased by 35% in the last six months. With the stock price rising more than 60% so far this year, things are even better.
Michael Jordan and Mark Cuban, both of whom are billionaires, were among the first investors in Sportradar. The NFL owns stock in the Swiss company as well.
